Use of TRIM Function/Formula in Excel

This formula/function removes all spaces from text in particular cell except single spaces between words.

Syntax/Formula of TRIM Function in Excel

The syntax of TRIM function in Microsoft Excel is below.

=TRIM(text)

Example of TRIM Function in Excel

Step 1: First type ADVANCED         MS       EXCEL in cell B4 as per shown in below image. (Note: Highlighted is the multipal space)

Step 2: Type formula =TRIM(B4) in cell B6 and press enter.
