Use of SMALL function/formula in Microsoft Excel:

This function in Microsoft Excel returns the K-th smallest value in selected data cells range.
This function also used to select the first, second, third to 10th smallest position in a list of selected data cells range.

Syntax/Formula:

The syntax of SMALL function in Microsoft Excel is below.

=SMALL(array,k)

Example 1:

Step 1 : First type number  1,2,3,4 & 5 starting from cell B5 to B9

Step 2 : Type formula  =SMALL(B5:B9,1) in cell B11 and press enter.

Step 1 : First type number  1,2,3,4 & 5 starting from cell B15 to B19

Step 2 : Type formula in =SMALL(B15:B19,2) in cell B21 and press enter.
