Use of COUNTBLANK function/formula in Microsoft Excel


This function in Microsoft Excel helps to counts the number of empty cells within selected data cells range.


Syntax/Formula:

The syntax of COUNTBLANK in Microsoft Excel is below.

=COUNTBLANK(Value1,[value2],…)


Example:

Step 1: First type ADVANCED in cell B5, MS in cell B6, EXCEL in cell B8 and .BLOGSPOT.COM in cell B10 as per shown in below image.

Step 2: Type formula =COUNTBLANK(B5:B10) in cell B13 and press enter.
